May 16, 2016 Monthly Meeting

Our social time starts at 6:30 and the business meeting may start a little earlier than normal to give us time to complete the agenda.  This is the last meeting until September, so it’s important that you are there to make decisions about our future events.  You’ll have the opportunity to renew your membership and make your choices of next years activities.

Following our meeting (around 7:30), our friends from Shady Hill Nursery in Londonderry will be demonstrating the art of making beautiful collections of flowers to grace our outdoor living areas.  There will be arrangements completed during the lecture that we will raffle off at the end of the program.  Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn this art and for the chance to bring one home.

The demonstration provided by Shady Hill Nursery was given to over 30 members of the garden club.  Two container gardens were created: one for shade and one for sun. Both containers were raffled off to the members.
