The members of the Bedford Garden Club would like to thank the following local businesses for their generous donations to our Silent Auction held on December 10, 2107.

Alapage, Hungry Bear Honey, Flo Parlangeli, Pampered Chef, Jacques Flower Shop, Purple Finch Cafe, Harvest Market, Zin-Zen Yoga, Carrabba’s, Murphy’s Taproom, Depot Farm Stand, Preference Styling Salon, Fresh Market, Nail Indulgence and Merlin’s Ultimate Images.

Their contributions were very much a part of our success of raising funds to continue our educational programs, civic landscape improvements, scholarships and charitable donations.

The Garden Club has served our community since 1935. We promote education of many aspects of horticulture, conservation and other garden related topics. Our commitment to civic landscape improvement is evident in the establishment and maintenance of numerous community gardens. Funds are raised to enhance the sites, providing trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals. The gardens are a gift to the Town of Bedford.

Our scholarship/educational program provides horticultural grants and scholarships to studies relating to agriculture, horticulture, forestry, botany, landscape architecture, natural resources, earth sciences and other environmental fields. We also support applicants to the Master Gardeners program through UNH Cooperative Extension.
