On one day only – September 5th, the Bedford Garden Club will hold its annual Mum Sale at the Bedford Farmers Market from 3-6:00pm at 190 Meetinghouse Road, Bedford, the St. Elizabeth Seton Church parking lot. Beautiful 8-inch potted mums, produced by a New Hampshire grower, will be offered for sale at $7.50 each or 3 plants for $21.00 ($7.00 each for three or more plants).

Now celebrating its 82nd year, the Bedford Garden Club continues to offer garden-related educational programs and to maintain eight community gardens located throughout town for the benefit of both residents and visitors. Questions may be sent to: contact@bedfordgardenclubnh.org.

On September 8, 2017, the Perennial Plant Association and the Massachusetts Horticultural Society are teaming up to offer a day-long symposium entitled, “Perennial Inspirations & Concepts.”  Registration is $99 on or before August 25, 2017. After August 25, price increases to $125.  The program will be held at Mass Hort’s Horticultural Center located 900 Washington St., Wellesley, MA 02482-5725.
