For your spring planting needs, please visit the Bedford Garden Club’s Plant Sale on
Saturday May 21 from 9-11 am at Bedford’s Town Hall, 70 Bedford Center Road.
This annual event will take place indoors in a “garden-room” filled with hundreds of plants for sale, many of which come from members’ own gardens. A wonderful variety of perennials, annuals, herbs, vegetables, ground covers, and shrubs will be available. Typical plant prices range from $2.00 to $10.00 depending upon size. Some commercially grown plants will add to the variety of offerings for sale. Several Master Gardeners of the club will be on hand to answer your questions about plant varieties and growing conditions.
This one-day-only event is the club’s primary fundraiser. Come early for the best selection. Proceeds from the Plant Sale are used to fund garden-related educational programs that are open to the public and to maintain the club’s eight community gardens located throughout Bedford for the enjoyment of both residents and visitors. For more information send your questions to: contact@bedfordgardenclubnh.org.
If you would like to donate plants for the plant sale, send an email to contact@bedfordgardenclubnh.org and our members will dig up or pick up your donations at your homes
